Google TV – a software and hardware platform for set-top boxes and HDTVs based on the Android operating system and co-developed by Google, Intel, Sony and Logitech – is beginning to roll out into the marketplace. This could possibly mark the beginning of the next big thing, as true Internet TV becomes a reality. The really exciting part will be how developers utilize this new medium to create new experiences. The truth is, this type of technological advancement, along with tablets (aka iPad), will likely create a new Internet.
